When it comes to the traditional mediums, I have a whole list that I’ve done. Traditional art, charcoal, pastels, acrylic, oil, sculpture, pottery, loom weaving and fiber arts, crochet, knitting, and many other hands on crafts. I have even done photography in the past, specifically using the manual settings on a camera.

Illustration is my number one design field that I am interested in. From as early as I can remember I was holding a pencil and drawing on something. The walls, the couch, my clothes etc. That was until I got older and used papers and crafts to get my creativity out in the world. I have also been working as a part time commission artist for the last three years. I have been using an alias online to work with streamers and create my own brand within that world. I am mainly using a site called VGen to sell my work and have completed almost 500 orders since I started on there in April 2023.

In some free time, I have recently started to mess with some frame-by-frame animation. I have also successfully completed 2D animation in a program called Live 2D Cubism. With this I have been able to create models and assets for streamers that can track their facial movements. It took me about a year to learn and be proficient in it. At the moment I am writing this, I have been taking commissions and working with streamers for 3 years now. I am also working on 3 models for clients. Hello ! My name is Madison M. (Margaret) McCawley and I am an artist and graphic designer. There are many things I enjoy and plan to try out. I love experimenting with color and style. I find it hard to leave white space around my work and instead I will fill it up to keep every part of the layout interesting. I am not scared of having fun with color, design, patterns, and styles. I will gladly pick up new mediums and attempt it at least once. I have done most traditional mediums and am working on trying all the digital mediums available to me. I have experience in adobe programs and have even tried other art programs for different practices like illustration and animation.

UX/UI has recently been my new interest that has been fun and exciting to get into. I have always wanted to learn about coding and how websites work. I love figuring things out with trial and error. It’s something that I always grew up doing as well. My father ingrained it in me as a kid to be able to figure out things myself and be able to be independent. Being able to take that part of me and use it in a professional way has been very rewarding. ​​​
