Live 2D
An artist will draw the 2D Art layers and then import them as a psd file into a program called Cubism. These layers are then needed to be set up with meshes in order to create the illusion of being 3D. These models are able to link tracking to a webcam and follow the movements of the person using the model in real time. These are used by streamers called VTubers. Animation is also a thing that can be done in Live2D Cubism. The layer separation is very similar to a full model. Each part of the art needs to be able to move independently for the animation. Here is a glimpse at how the software is laid out and works.
